The search has begun to find community groups, schools, businesses and other organisations across Wales who have gone the extra mile to improve their local environment. From litter picks to increasing biodiversity and transforming disused green space - Keep Wales Tidy honours those volunteers, our heroes, who work towards a more beautiful Wales.
The prestigious annual Tidy Wales Awards, organised by Keep Wales Tidy, presented by the Minister for the Environment and Sustainability John Griffiths, and sponsored by Environment Agency Wales, recognises and rewards those who are judged to have made a real effort to restore communities to their former glory.
We invite all potential applicants to visit the Keep Wales Tidy website and consider the 7 categories. All groups, schools and organisations wishing to be considered for the prestigious awards are reminded that the closing date is midnight on Monday 14 January 2013.
